SANTEC now presents a new series of Laboratory Presses incorporates all latest features required to test the various materials for RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT. These Presses are designed to be with low maintenance, low noise and need minimum floor space.

Salient Features in Laboratory Type Compression Moulding Presses

A specially designed Heating System ensure a high uniformity of temperature of the Plates. For this reason the Press is ideal for Moulding Rubber & Plastic Sheets or Samples for Laboratory tests. Digital PID Controllers - FUJI (Japan) make are provided for accurate temperature measurements.

Laboratory Press & Mixing Mill

The Press can also be successfully used for moulding small series of Rubber & Plastic Parts for mass production too.

Press Structure is very and can work in 3 shifts.

The Press is covered from all three sides except front side for loading and unloading of mould inside the Press. At the front side a safety photoguard is fixed for operator's safety.

4-Pillard type construction hence betteralignment.

PLC with Display Unit, so Press is easy to operate and user's friendly.

Automatic Press Control device for programming an automatic production cycle by inserting upto 5 degassing cycles and curing time for moulding. At the end of the programmed time, the press automatically opens and a beeper signals the end of the cycle.

'SANTEC Laboratory Mill is an essential laboratory equipment in the Plastic & Rubber Processing Industries. These equipments incorporates all latest features required to mix the various Plastic & Rubber Compounds and play an important role in Quality Control of the final product.

Safety Features in Laboratory Type Two Roll Mixing Mill :

Many years production experience results in a compact machine.
Built-in Driving Unit, less space requirement, 6 pole electric motor using circular type Reducer gives lowest noise level.
Rolls are hardchrome plated grounds and polished, surface hardness 60HRC or above (hardness depth approx. 1.5mm) roughness height of 0.5cm.
Roll Bearings are in the form of double row taper self aligning Roller Bearings. Rolls allows sheeting thickness to 0.12mm.
The bearings are lubricated with Auto-lubrication system.
Specially produced Roll Mill prevents the two rolls from touching each other during operation.
An Emergency Safety Device by a knee pedal to facilitate automatic stopping the machine and to enable the rolls to be reversed about 11A of the circumferences.
Material guide plate produced of Teflon, heat and acid-resistant, no staining and will not do harm to the rolls as comparing to with conventional bronze guide bars.
Maximum working temperature upto 240 degree eel. (Electrical heating system higher on request). Most precise temperature control thanks to specialized heating systems. For electric heating, most precise automatic temperature controller and specially designed temperature sensors are used with accurate indication of working temperature which allow tolerance of ± 2 degree Celsius.
Surface temperature deviations are ± 2 degree cel.
